Craftsmanship

At Aeniq, every garment is the work of an atelier. Our sleepwear is constructed using techniques that have been the standard of fine European tailoring for more than a century — French seams that finish cleanly on both sides, mother-of-pearl buttons hand-set with an anchor stitch, drawcords woven on the same looms our forebears used.

Made by hand

Each piece passes through up to fourteen hands before it reaches yours. The cutter who lays the pattern. The seamstress who joins the shoulder. The presser who finishes each seam by hand-iron. The inspector who reviews the placket against a gold-seal sample retained at our studio. We do not chase efficiency at the expense of construction.

This is the standard we hold for every garment — whether it is our Premium Cotton Signature set or our heirloom Sea Island Cotton trousseau.

The signatures

  • French seams on every interior, finished on both sides.
  • Mother-of-pearl buttons, individually hand-set with anchor stitching.
  • Hand-tacked stress points at the collar, placket, and pocket corners.
  • Continuous side seams; bound finish on every interior edge.
  • Grosgrain inner ties on every robe.
  • Tonal stitching throughout — no contrast unless deliberately editorial.

Repaired for life

Every Aeniq garment is enrolled in our repair-for-life programme. Send any piece back to our atelier at any age, and we will restitch, replace buttons, reinforce seams, or refinish hems — at no charge, for as long as you wear the piece. You pay only the return shipping. The most sustainable garment is the one you keep wearing.
