Sustainability
Sustainability
Sustainability is not a campaign at Aeniq. It is an operating principle that we have built into how we make, ship, and care for our garments.
Sourcing with provenance
Our fabrics come from authenticated mills with verifiable provenance. Sea Island Cotton certified by the West Indian Sea Island Cotton Association. Egyptian Giza Cotton from the Nile Delta. American Pima authenticated by the Supima Association. European linen certified by Masters of Linen. And our Premium Cotton from mills affiliated with the Better Cotton Initiative.
Packaging
- FSC-certified rigid linen-wrapped box.
- Cotton ribbon — no synthetic film.
- Soy ink on all printed material.
- Care cards on uncoated recycled paper, hand-signed.
The linen wrap on every Aeniq box is itself a textile. Keep it, gift it, reuse it. Nothing in the package is single-use by our design.
Repaired for life
The most sustainable garment is the one you keep wearing. Every Aeniq piece is enrolled in our repair-for-life programme: send it back at any age, and our atelier will mend it. Buttons, seams, plackets, hems. For as long as you keep the piece, we will keep it well.
The Year-Two commitments
- A peace-silk pilot capsule: an Ahimsa-process alternative for those who prefer it.
- A take-back programme: return your pieces at end-of-life for restoration, archive resale, or donation through a partner charity.
- Published atelier locations on this page, with annual audit summaries.
We lead with craft, and we will earn the right to talk about sustainability in plain terms by the time our claims are independently verifiable. Not before.
